POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provides administrative and clinical supervision to nursing personnel in the patient care areas; supervises and coordinates activities of nursing with other hospital departments, patients and families; evaluates and directs the delivery of patient care to all patients; performs a full range of RN duties in accordance with assignment under the task order.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing or a Diploma from a Nursing Program accredited by NLNAC or CCNE
Current license by Texas Board of Nursing
Current BLS; current ACLS preferred
EXPERIENCE
Previous supervisory experience and minimum of one year medical-surgical experience recommended.
