POSITION DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY
The Facilities Specialist is responsible for performing operational support duties of the Facilities/EVS/Maintenance Department by assisting the Facilities Director as directed and ensuring that all facilities, properties, and office service functions operate effectively and efficiently. Provide service and/or maintenance on 100+ ton chillers, PTAC’s and split systems. Working knowledge of building Control Systems particularly Johnson Controls and Daikin. Experience with low voltage and up to 480 volts. Mechanical maintenance on boilers, pumps, emergency generators and A.T.S. Perform minor carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Technical Degree preferred
Universal Refrigerant License to be obtained within first year of employment
Proficient in verbal and written communication skills
Data entry and ability to utilize Computerized Maintenance Software
