POSITION DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the collection of blood samples for laboratory examination by venipuncture and micropuncture technique on all ages. Responsible for various other duties including keeping workstation supplies in order and answering the telephone. Perform waived testing to assist providers in treating patients (will be trained). Some local travel required (float to satellite facility and nursing home).
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy program required
Must be fluent in English (verbal and written)
EXPERIENCE
2 year previous experience strongly preferred
