John Yeary, is the new Freestone Medical Center Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective March 5, 2018.
John, a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, Texas (1982) and earned the Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas (1994). He earned the credential of Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) in 1994 and earned Life Status in 2010.
John, served on the administrative staffs of Hendrick Health Systems, Abilene, Texas (1984-1991), Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria Louisiana, (1991-1996), U.T. Southwestern Medical Center and Liberty Health Services, both of Dallas, Texas, (1995-1996) prior to becoming CEO of Eastland Memorial Hospital, Eastland, Texas (1996-2004), Shelby Regional Medical, Center, Texas (2004-2006) and Desoto Regional Health System (2009-2010). From 2010-2016 John served as manager then CEO/Owner of Regional Health Services, LLC, a durable medical equipment company headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana.
