DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide patient care through the nursing process of assessment, implementation and evaluation on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients according to their diverse cultural needs; execution of physicians’ orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice; documentation of patient care and observations; provide patient education and emotional support.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing Program
Current license by the Texas Board of Nursing
Current BLS
Must be fluent in English (verbal and written)
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred
